AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE LAND USAGE CODE OF THE TOWN; AMENDING SECTION 157.003 PROVIDING DEFINITIONS; AMENDING SECTION 157.285 (B) , ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION (14); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AREA ENCOMPASSED, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.  

        B.      Ordinance 2018-03

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE XV, CHAPTER 157 ZONING REGULATIONS, CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORDINANCE; AMENDING SECTION 157.240(F)(1) (R-2 ONE, TWO AND MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AND INTENT); PROVIDING FOR THE INCREASE IN THE MINIMUM LOT AREA TO 7,500 SQUARE FEET FOR ONE FAMILY DWELLINGS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AREA ENCOMPASSED; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES CODE.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE LAND USAGE CODE OF THE TOWN; AMENDING SECTIONS 157.270 (F)(1), 157.285 (F)(1), and 157.300 (F)(1) RELATING TO MAXIMUM BUILDING HEIGHT FOR PROPERTIES ABUTTING EXISTING DEVELOPED SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES AMENDING SECTION  157.285 (B)(11)(e); AMENDING SECTION  157.285 (B)(11)(g); PROVIDING FOR VISUAL SCREENING REQUIREMENTS; AMENDING SECTION 157.502 (A) RELATING TO THE HEIGHT OF A VISUAL SCREEN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AREA ENCOMPASSED, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Pursuant to Section 286. 0105, FS, the Town hereby advises the public that:  If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Town Council with respect to any matter considered at its meeting or hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that for such purposes, affected persons may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  This notice does not constitute consent by the Town for the introduction or admission into evidence of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
